Morpho makes the most of the good weather by sky dancing! Here he is being his cheerful self. Despite being born into the tribe, Morpho's role was never clear to him. During his trial period, he tried out each role but he never felt satisfied. What he does love, is performing. Be it dancing, singing, stand up, etc. He LOVED putting on a show. However he was extremely shy about his secret talent. The only person who knows of this, is his childhood friend Hope; who is herself not the most social butterfly. She is very supportive about his passions, even going so far as to practise with him and being his dance partner. There's one reason why he held himself back from expressing himself; the tribal system itself. Performing isn't seen as a necessary role within a tribe and is seen as generally unhelpful. Not wanting to disappoint his parents, he keeps everything to himself. And hopes one day, he'll be given a chance to express himself freely with fear. ______________________________________________________ Scorched Earth is a story that revolves around Hope, her friends and family, as well as other characters. As danger looms in the shadows, she leads an expedition in search of answers. How did the fire start and what exactly is this 'danger' that they must face?
