I finally ventured out to Turkey Creek Sanctuary the other night. I am just learning my way around and where some of the good spots might be. I might have found a good place to start the trip out there. The 12 1/2" Bass greedily took my size 8 orange Morphine Mighty Micro. I had tossed a few other flies in the same area with no response to any of them. I changed to my go to fly and it didn't take long before it was pulling hard on the 3wt.

On 9-6-23 I fished my favorite spot at Arc park in the evening. From 7pm till dark I caught four. Three Bass and one Red Eared Sunfish. I used my 3wt rod. The bass were caught on an orange size eight Morphin Mighty Micro. This fish came in third place at 10.5" in length. The Bass bite has been getting better. Looking forward to getting out on a larger body of water.
