This Brown Sugar Coffee Cake is a delightful treat that pairs perfectly with your morning coffee or tea. The rich brown sugar and cinnamon swirls make it a comforting and flavorful choice for breakfast or brunch.
Ingredients: 1 cups all-purpose flour. 1 cup brown sugar, packed. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1 cup sour cream. 2 eggs. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup chopped pecans optional. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
Instructions: Start by heating the oven to 350F 175C. A 9x9-inch baking pan should be greased and floured. Softened butter and brown sugar should be mixed together in a large bowl. Mix until fluffy and light. One at a time, add the eggs and beat well after each one. Add the vanilla extract and mix well. Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in a different bowl. Add the dry ingredients to the butter and sugar mixture slowly, mixing in the sour cream every so often. Put the dry ingredients in first and end with them. After the pan is ready, spread half of the batter out and smooth it out. Put the chopped pecans and ground cinnamon in a small bowl and mix them together. Put half of this mix on top of the batter in the pan. Spread the rest of the batter out evenly on top, and then sprinkle the rest of the pecan-cinnamon mixture on top. After the oven is hot, bake it for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean. Let the coffee cake cool down a bit before you serve it. Have fun!
