Angelini (real name Angelo Necchi) is a castrato who performs opera in 1780s Vienna. He’s stuck-up and frequently insults other performers, although he can’t take what he dishes out and gets highly offended. Naturally, resident bassoon buffoon Moritz has made it his life’s mission to annoy the hell out of him as much as possible.

Liesel is older by about 4 and a half years, but they look pretty similar (right down to both having freckles under their eyes) so it can be hard to tell.

Moritz isn't too keen on adulthood. He lives in fear that acting like an adult means he's going to stop having fun, so he goes through life being a giant goofball and trying to avoid responsibilities besides playing the bassoon, which he's great at. 3 days before his 19th birthday, his life is changed forever when he's in the orchestra for the premiere of Die Entführung aus dem Serail (aka Il Seraglio) in Vienna and he sees first-hand that despite being a renowned composer Mozart is...like that. Moritz, buoyed by this discovery, sets out on his quest to successfully balance adulthood with his screwball personality (and likely annoy almost every single fellow musician he meets along the way, friends included on some level).
