"Why do humans set aside a specific day to love?"
"A human holiday?"
"May 20th. In Chinese, the numbers 'five-two-zero' sound like 'I love you.' It started as an internet thing back in the early twenty-first century, and somewhere along the way it turned into a day where you're supposed to give gifts."
Happy 520! (Just reposting some old art today.)
Actually, the Steam store page went live today! But— the game build is still going through its second round of review, so the files aren't up yet.
520 is a pretty good date, honestly. I'm officially decreeing it as the anniversary day for this game.
I want to redo the PV from scratch, so I'm putting all other game-related work on hold until the new PV is done. (The old PV I cut together myself is so embarrassingly amateurish—I genuinely can't stand watching it anymore.) (Please don't go looking for it 😭)

Escape Line Surpasses 10K+ Downloads — Thanks!
The game actually hit 10,000 downloads quite a while ago, but the author (me! The Greatest-Mo-Ring) got completely held hostage by schoolwork—so the celebratory illustration is only just now getting done.
(Eclipse, get out here and work your magic, thanks.) (A mature monster knows how to reel in their own catch.)
What's really worth cheering about:
on just the second day after launch, [EscapeLine] hit the New&Popular chart in the Visual Novel category on itch!! Oh yeah yeah yeah yeah!!
Thank you all so much for your support! I'll put together a Q&A next time to answer everyone's questions!
