Instead of growing up under Sun Wukong’s guidance, MK is taken in by Macaque. While Wukong teaches freedom, compassion, and restraint, Macaque teaches survival through fear, manipulation, and power. MK grows up learning that the world is cruel and that kindness is weakness.

This version of MK isn’t misunderstood or morally gray—he’s truly evil. He doesn’t fight for justice or protect others; he seeks control, dominance, and recognition. Where Wukong would teach restraint, Macaque pushes him to embrace anger and chaos.

The tragedy is that MK still carries Wukong’s potential inside him—but it’s twisted. He becomes what Wukong could have been if he never learned humility. Not a twin. Not a mirror.
