I cannot wait to moooove
I've just been writing and plotting and saving and planning all of the amazing things I plan on doing once I’m in my new apartment. Since everything is packed, and has been for a week (also most of it is now in storage at various friends’ places) I’ve been UnArting for so looonnng, it feels like years.
Oh wait. It has.Â
I’ve done a bit, commissions here and there, (and currently working on my biggest one yet) but I haven’t done anything purely for the sheer, wacky fun of it in several years. I want to make crappy art, I want to make silly art, I want to decorate my home and person with my Craft.
I have plans for my clothing, my walls, my health, and my business. But it’s all mostly just me plotting for when I finally have my own space to do whatever I want to in it.
I’m moving most of the rest of my stuff (if not all?) out tomorrow, so I’ll have Monday to clean this old apartment with Lane, once he arrives. We have walls to wash and paint, appliances to clean out, floors to either scrub or mop, and garbage & recycling to haul out.
All of the stress of this move comes from me figuring out how to get everything out of here and into my new place in a timely manner, and make sure that my partner doesn’t get hooked with a $300 cleaning bill. (That’s what was quoted as the speculated cost for if we don’t succeed in cleaning the carpet ourselves.)
Breathing... Beltane is a new chapter for me.
