Five years ago, exactly where my niece stood for a photo, now become a manicured lawn. And now she is enjoying the morning coffee in the verandah with the view. I am jealous right now. Thanks to a very hardworking hubby, the retirement place is almost there. Did I get disappointed? Yes, I did but not surprised. Have I regretted the friendship, not at all. I did not make friends for benefits and social status. I genuinely made friends not because of their social status instead of their simplicity and humility. Friendship for me is about give and take , sharing and helping each other. But sometimes the lack of sensibility and commonsense and maybe less education became the causes of the break up of trust to each other.
