Okay so. Cannibal blood solar au. If I’m understanding right—I saw from your TSAMS confession/headcanon admission—the basis for the AU is “Solar never died, and was given the ability to eat and a separate ability to self-heal by consuming metal, but those two features were accidentally connected via code, resulting in Solar craving metal from animatronics.” I totally understand if this is outdated, things like this change, who knows how many times I’ve fundamentally changed my own AUs.
I think the upgrades/messed up code is a smart way to go about that, by the way! We love it when a robot’s biggest strength and weakness, the ability to change essential things about how they operate, affects them when something doesn’t go as planned.
Now for some questions: How does Solar feel about this? Did he want the upgrades in the first place, is he horrified about the thoughts and cravings he has, does he resent Monty for messing that part up? Or is he subconsciously accepting of the thoughts, doesn’t blame Monty for making a mistake, did he ask for those upgrades? What do the others think of these things, has anyone been attacked or witnessed Solar attacking someone? Also, what part does Ruin have in this, because you’ve depicted them as being close?
Lemme answer these questions in different order because I am excited for some than others
Well, he found him in this state and decided to try and help him get better
He "took him in" and well... Feelings were developed
Solar has gotten somewhat better
He doesn't have urges to eat animatronics anymore
But he does need to still eat metal and drink oil or else he'll go absolutely CRAZY
He ended up hurting Ruin at some points during his crazed states
Actually, fun fact, Solar has a specific closet in their cabin that he uses to hide himself from Ruin whenever he feels horrible about himself. Just a neat little fact :]
Solar didn't ask for the upgrades. But once Sun and Moon pitched up the idea, he thought about it, and decided "eh, why not?"
He doesn't really blame Monty for it. I mean, he does somewhat blame him because he was the one who put the code in him, but he doesn't really because he blames himself more than Monty. He says that it's his fault because he's "letting himself" have these cravings
He is somewhat accepting the fact that he's a cannibal, but he doesn't like thinking about it so it just is
Has someone been attacked by him?
He killed Lunar, Bloodmoon, and New Moon Nexus
