Since I already went to the White Mountain National Forest in New Hampshire last weekend, I figured I’d check out the only other national forest in New England, the Green Mountain National Forest in Vermont this past weekend.
After a bit of research I decided to stay near yet another body of water lol. I couldn’t camp right on the lake completely by myself like I did at Gordon Pond but it was still close to the water and far enough away from other campers.
As I was hiking in, things weren’t looking too promising since a lot of the leaves had already turned and come down and the sun was starting to set. Not having much expectations, I decided to fly my drone up for a quick birds eye view and as I panned, much to my surprise, I was in for a treat as the colors were so vibrant and spectacular from above as the sun set on the lake!
