Hmmm. Well I pretty much left the SPN fandom and characters behind and haven’t kept up beyond like... season nine... (and tbh I don’t have any interest in rewatching the show lol) so I don’t think I’d write a crossover with all four characters..
HOWEVER, now you’ve got me thinking about a Stucky au loosely based on the spn universe with the hunter/angel/paranormal stuff and there’s definitely potential there.
Bucky as a hunter who’s Gone Through Some Shit. Maybe he’s been to Purgatory or Hell before... similar arc to Bucky in the MCU with hydra.
Steve... I don’t think his characterization fits Cas super well but it’d be cool to explore his (Steve’s) character and how he would react to those circumstances. Being an angel sent down to earth, etc.
Or idk maybe Steve is another hunter. Maybe (sorta combining stucky and spn here) he and Bucky knew each other as kids cuz both their dads were hunters. Maybe they help each other out sometimes and something happens, where Steve thinks Bucky’s dead, but he’s really in Hell/Purgatory.
Maybe *handwavey spn stuff* steve somehow sees Bucky there and when gets back here he makes it his Number One Job to rescue Bucky and bring him back (*cough* what if he makes a deal and pulls Bucky from hell *cough*)
Idk. But something along those lines is the type of crossover I’d be interested in writing.
So... I’m open to it? Maybe? Definitely with the right prompting of a bang or commission or something
