sharply clapping his hands together to gather the attention of everyone, “ alright, enough, ” sizhui starts, looking between jin ling and the other group of cultivators ( he doesn’t recognize their faces ) ; having arrived late, he has no idea what just transpired between jin ling and the other group but with the looks of jin ling’s dirtied clothes, he could only make assumptions. sizhui tries to insert himself between jin ling at the person the younger was currently bickering with. “ i apologize, but jin — gongzi and i have another place to be, ” he offers a small smile, hoping to get the other party to back down. “ i am unsure what has transpired, but i hope that you gentlemen could excuse us ?? ” sizhui said, hoping to distance jin ling from the others before things got difficult...or worse, physical. he wasn’t about to apologize for whatever jin ling did ( he has no idea what happened and he’s sure jin ling didn’t want him to be apologizing for him anyways )...the other party doesn’t seem like they were going to apologize either.
“ ––It isn’t a fear.” she corrects, crossing her arms with a special indignance, “it’s a... mutual distaste. Horses have never liked me, wings or no wings, so I don’t like ‘em either. I seriously doubt your pegasus is going to be the magic exception to the rule.”
