I think the whole dream rule thing was that Prospit dreamers believe in fate and follow it while Derse dreamers not so much, they like to make their own path instead of following whatever they're "supposed" to do
Not perfect, but not bad.
John is easily influenced. He does what people tell him to do. Jade uses timeline communcation and the clouds to try to emulate what she is meant to do for cascade. Vriska knew everything was going to go wrong, and instead of fixing it, just made sure she was the one who did it. Gamzee has a lot of religious influences, which tie with fate
Rose rejected her brightly colored land and rain quest, choosing a darker side. Dave didnt want to be a hero. Eridan wanted to join up with Jack Noir. Aradia rejects the death that plagues her and turns it into something she can like
Exceptions: Terezi and Karkat maybe. Terezi is what motivated Game Over to get pulled out of the doomed timeline. Karkat... is weird. Jane Crocker is also very important. She rebelled against the Batterwitch’s path for her and made the company into her own image. Equius more then any one else is a stickler for things being the way they should be.
Also, some might be subjective. Was Feferi a rebel? Or was her approach a part of her path as a Witch of Life?
All in all, I wouldnt be mad if you used this, but i wouldnt say its word of law. the only dreamself word of law is time=derse space=prospit which is above all headcanons
