Owen’s “you got sharp ears, Pearl” sounded so. Owen wants that cookie so baaaddddd

Now Imma be honest when I first heard of this rarepair a while back I mostly saw them as platonic, BUT after having them rotate in the back of my head for a while now, I can and will spread proper shipping propaganda of them.

Thus, I present the first little bit of my Bloodmoon thoughts (there is more that I may share should they continue on):

Picture a world where Pearl was less of an npc early on and took a similar-ish path to Legs. However instead of trying to 'fix' Owen she just tries to help him learn to be a better person and accepts him for what he is. She builds up a relationship with him on the premise that he is not the monster he claims himself to be. HOWEVER to add some angst, Owen ends up hiding the massacre part of his past from her (because she kills things that kill people, and she's been pretty adamant about that). What Owen does emphasize is that, presently, he hasn't turned/killed anyone in Oakhurst, and this is what Pearl tries to use to her advantage to help prove to him that he's not really a monster.

Anyway, Imma stop there for now and leave with this final thought: if Pearl and Owen had interacted more in-canon, there could have been SO MUCH potential

This is so true, I wish more people realized the potential of this ship!
