Yes yes yes see Rocky and Caine. Engineer and guy who builds worlds with a thought. What if they worked together. Sooooo much bickering. Rocky is very straightforward though so when it gives Caine praise he explodes into one million sparkles. Caine tries so hard to have the best ideas ever for Rocky in particular and Rocky is a nightmare of a critic but it drives Caine to keep improving. Caine starts adopting Rockyisms over time. Rocky builds all over the circus. The circus becomes a weird nightmarish hybrid of bright artificial looking structures and Eridian architecture. You hear me you understand

My thinking is if we want to take this ship seriously than there's an interesting line to be drawn between Caine's insecurity at not being able to fulfill his purpose, leaving a trail of abstracted in his wake, and Rocky's trauma at not being able to fix, which results in the death of their entire crew.
If we want to shitpost, than my question becomes whether it would be funnier if Rocky's circus-sona was their regular-ass body or James Ortiz for some reason. Can you fucking imagine being one of the regular circus crew for this though bc oh my god. The realization that the new member is a fucking alien. The computer they're on is over 11 light years away from earth. The alien's human bestie looks like Ryan Gosling for some fucking reason. Markiplier is there.
EDIT: I wrote all this out without thinking of the secret third funny option for Rocky's circus-sona, which would be a homestuck troll. Can You Fucking Imagine bc ABSOLUTELY Gangle at least knows what homestuck is
