mason sighed to himself as he heard his brother and his girlfriend fighting downstairs. he had done something to upset her again, and he knew it was only a matter of seconds before his brother was begging for forgiveness. and of course, she would give it to him. she was sweet, but deserved better. and it was always hard for mason to watch, especially considering he had been in love with her since third grade. but when he heard the door slam his eyes widened. did she finally leave? walking down the stairs he found the female sobbing to herself on the couch. of course, she didn't leave him. instead, he stormed out. asshole. "hey.." mason whispered as he walked over to her. "are you okay?" he knew it was none of his business, and he should go back to his room, but he couldn't just walk away after seeing her so upset.

“you’re out of your fucking mind if you think my fat ass is getting up from this chair.” esme stated matter of factly as she looked up at the other, a laugh spilling from her lips, “i don’t care where you’re going, i’m staying right. here.”

her eyes met lorelai’s from across the crowded room, only holding her gaze for a brief second long enough to flash her a tiny smile. this whole thing was still so new, it felt like she was constantly treading into uncharted waters-- but it was exciting. exhilarating, even. they hadn’t been hooking up for long, and she wasn’t quite sure what (if anything) they were, or what they’d ever be. one thing she did know, though, was seeing the girl dressed so beautifully at the country club event made her want to find out. the moment she saw the girl have a free moment, alone, she began to move towards her. “you look... beautiful.” daisy spoke, earnestly, absentmindedly dragging her teeth over her lower lip. / @moonlightbcbe
