HER laugh is an unsettling thing as her gaze finds her brother after a beat. off - kilter for sure but there's something within it that cannot be placed -- like the world had crushed her spirit after she forced herself to stand tall as much as she could. from her perch she drops , closing the space between herself and her elder brother 'fore her pointer finger stabs against his chest.

( 🌙 ) MANAGING TO HAVE stayed awake as long as she had after the initial clash with rerir had been astronomical. unprepared as she was to practically eat a full abyssal cocktail of an attack to save herself .. she felt she did a pretty good job. at least at the time --- now , before she'd passed out , she'd felt like absolute garbage and desiring rest. a fever had spiked earlier in the evening , the former soldier stirring groggily upon the tactile sense of something sticking to her.

AH. A BLANKET. she sniffs , sluggishly trying to move while her entire form felt like a bag of bricks had fallen atop of her. not an easy task. nonetheless she let out a soft grunt of acknowledgement 'fore holding out a hand for him to hopefully take. she'd missed the twilight sword , not much time between them had been had when he'd appeared ( and without some bombshell reveal in relation to her brother in tow for once ) and .. she didn't exactly want to be alone right now.

( 🌙 ) GOLDEN HUES SOFTEN in understanding , a hand bringing the other's up so that she could place her lips atop the gloved hand with a warm smile. it was as sad as the former archon no doubt felt.

( 💧 ) LOOKING DOWN AT her hand that felt little to nothing due to the primordial seawater that had ruined the nerves long ago she exhaled. how does she explain that she didn't want him to feel GUILT over something that , at the time , he believed to have been doing for the good of the fontainian people. it was true she had been cross with him for a time -- had trouble trusting in him but .. enough time had passed to where she understood his ( and the traveler's ) reasons for pushing as much as they had.

( 🌙 ) HER CHEST BURNS with sorrow as she took a shaky step forward , golden dipped fingers reaching out for him despite how what coated them dripped toward the ground. tears welled as she shakes her head , desperate for him to just come with her or let her help him.
