autumn leaves falling slow (like fragile shells drifting in the foam) by moonbots
general | 5.5k | gen | complete | not Jiang!WWX
She takes Wei Ying’s hands. They seem as fragile as butterfly wings in her palms. “A-Ying’s parents have gone to a place far away from here. I do not know when they will return, but they have asked me to take care of A-Ying in their stead. Will you come with me?”
His eyes are wide, listening attentively to what she has to say. His attention on her feels like the warmth of sunshine. She feels like she is travelling back in time, holding onto another lonely child who looked exactly like Wei Ying, and shone with the force of a thousand stars.
-
in which baoshan sanren loses a child and gains another, as a new day dawns in autumn.
Dee’s thoughts - I always love exploring this kind of alternate universe. WWX has so much potential and he shines despite his circumstances. This story hints at a much better life for him. The second part of the series is incomplete but I feel like the first part is satisfying on its own. Definitely a good read!
Ju’s thoughts - This fic made me very emotional. I love stories where WWX is raised with love and care, and this one is Baoshan Sanren POV, and it's clear she loves him very much. The scene where they talk about WWX’s parents dying made me cry. Special appearance of Xiao Xingchen, as WWX's shidi. This fic is part of a series, but the second story (which covers WWX leaving the mountain) is a WIP. (the art on the first chapter is absolutely gorgeous)

Emy (french artist and friend of mine) recently drew some pictures with "Moonbots", robots with moon-shaped heads. I like them, so I drew one to her. Sort of friendly fan-art!
(...yeah, I don't draw exclusively cartoon fan-arts ^^)
