#moon cookie

Being a mother is tough, but being a person who have many failed attempt on having a child of your own is even more painful then anybody could understand. Moon been through a lot and tried so many times to get a child of her own.

When she finally got a beautiful son, She name it little moon, the name that she wish to give to the young one, but her husband have another problem with it. Telling her to get rid of that son before it grow up to become something terrible. Since the husband can see the future and can tell the disaster will come, when he heard that name, he can see the future of his son and trying to convince her to kill it and try to make a new one.

She couldn't bear to lose another child, especially when one is alive in front of her and from her own blood. She make a difficult choice to leave the husband to raised her own son on her own. But one day, while she left them to play outside and go to make dinner, the son been kidnapped away from her by someone to throw them away, dispose of them, but the plan failed.

Moon lost her son and been devastated living all on her own and trying to find her son, while her son split and become another cookie.

Now, Moon is outside, on her moon looking at the two little moon that she know it her son souls living in there, and her heart broke when one shattered. Signing her that the split soul is gone. And all she hope is that the little broken ones will be with the little ones who died during labor will met each others in the afterlife.

The family figure or literally the mom of the two sons I just posted yesterday!

Their name is Luna or Moon cookie but rather be prefer to call Luna And they gave 0 fucks about everything.

     Siri Ahmed Backström and Kyuhyung Cho collaborated on this sweet little book called Moon Cookie. They picked a layout, but each illustrated all the pages. Then, their interpretations were screenprinted over each other.  I think the effect is awesome.
