where did you get the glasses in your banner? i've been using mythril spectacles which are okay but i want something better
Thank you for asking! There are actually a ton of great glasses glams in FFXIV, a rabbit hole I've gone down myself because Ariane always wears glasses unless I'm really feeling a certain hat. Often not even then. :P
The glasses she's wearing in my blog banner are the Elegant Rimless Glasses and my present favorite! They're a level 1 all classes glam, craftable by Goldsmith at level 50. You should also be able to grab them on the Market Board for somewhere between 10k and 50k depending on where you are.
They are dyeable and I think they look really nice in Metallic Brass as well (easier get than Metallic Gold, as you can get the brass dye in the Firmament with Skybuilder Scrips or Fête tokens).
These are pretty much my go-to at the moment, but for your convenience here is a list of the level 1 eyeglasses glams in the game! Not listed are the various low-level round spectacles, which you're familiar with, and also the non-craftable Inspector's Eyeglasses, a quest reward for the Scholasticate questline in post-Heavensward. (Great story, do recommend.)
