Menstrual cup update
So okay I've had 3 days of a near-perfect period. One mini leak that I didn't really need a pad for and now I'm only wearing a pad at night. The bigger cup is a definite winner. So it doesn't matter if you've not had kids or sex with a dude, if you're over 30 you would benefit from the larger size. It's also easy to remove because it's a little squishier and more tapered. I barely have to bare down now.
Sufficed to say next month I will be using a total of 5 pads and that means a reduction of like 15 pads. I'm kinda thinking about getting some period pants, the ones you can wash, because that would completely erase the need for them.
It does help that my GP prescribed me tranexamic acid (TXA) which is helping with the heaviness immensely. Ibuprofen seems to be keeping the cramps to a minimum.
Laters.
