My previous WIPs are on hiatus - I'll likely pull em out again someday but for now, we're working on a bit of a fantasy/possible romance.

Thank you so much! It was pretty scary, but fortunately my dad was around so he was able to help her and bring all of us to the hospital.

When we were waiting in the car for an hour to hear back from her, we propped up my phone on the dashboard and watched some Hulu so that was actually pretty fun. Our car isn’t one of those fancy ones with a screen but we were able to make do anyway.

3: does your wip have a title? if so, explain its significance. if not, what are you calling it for now?

it does have a title! it’s the graveyard heir and it correlates to a prophecy within the story spoken by a female-gandalf-ish character that i can’t explain too much about without spoilers so…

Loaded question, but I’m pretty pensive right now so I hope you don’t mind detail. 

i’m gonna come right out of the gates and say lord of the rings for all three, because that really hits every chord and bone in my body… but there are more

to read…. fantasy <3 but I’d say, if I had to rec five books to someone that really spoke to me, they would be Many Waters (all of Madeline L’engle is incredible but Many Waters has a special place in my soul), Deep Wizardry (second in Diane Duane’s Young Wizards series.. it has magic and whales and is just… really special), I Am the Messenger (not fantasy but… this book stayed with me in ways few others have), Wuthering Heights (it’s tragic and awful and horrible and full of so much emotion), Frankenstein (i just.. have feelings), and The Phantom Tollbooth (for lovers of language and whimsy and words)
