-Start chapter one: A giant start-

[Opens up panel one with forest shot, fairly nice day there are a few zooming in panels and then Coles' speech bubble]

Cole: Why the actual fuck are we hiking all the way out here?

Maverick: [sigh] Because my higher ups gave us a report that some hikers saw something

Cole: Oh just fan-fucking-tastic

Cole: You know those are my higher ups too-

[Maverick grabs Cole and shoves the two of them to hide in a crevices behind a tree]

Cole: What the fu-

Maverick: Shut it Shawcross

[Maverick says this with his hand over Coles mouth quiet for a panel, then next has us looking out of the hiding place to see a large humanoid lumbering by after a moment Maverick speaks]

Maverick: Fuck Maverick: There should be no way that's living here

Cole: What's living here?

Maverick: [Growl]A giant

Cole: A FUCKING-

[Maverick covers Coles mouth quickly with his hand again, there is a pause of stagnate silence Giant gets close but doesn't move in to grab them, moves along]

Cole: A giant?? but there are those in native myth right?

Maverick: This is a different Giant- not like native myth

[panel on Cole as a pause before he speaks]

Cole: .... Are you saying this is an invasive Giant species?

Maverick: [sighs] Yes

[Panel of Cole gesturing with a hand]

Cole: But that thing doesn't look no more than 8 feet tall

Maverick: Could be a Giant adolescence-

[Tree hiding spot gets ripped up by large 8 foot tall Giant, both Maverick and Cole pause there before they scramble]

Cole: I SHOULD HAVE KEPT MY MOUTH FUCKING SHUT-

[Cole turns back, brandishing his glock]

Maverick: DON'T SHOOT! Cole: DON'T SHOOT??? ARE YOU FUCKING INSANE??

[Cole dodges a large bolder thrown at him with a scream curse]

Maverick: WE NEED TO CALL HQ FOR BACKUP AND TO SECURE THE AREA!

[Maverick jumps over a tree thrown at him]

Cole: THAT COULD TAKE HOURS!

Cole: AND WHY IS THIS THING SO STRONG?

Maverick: NOT WITH THAT SEDATIVE I TOLD YOU TO PUT IN YOUR PACK! I'LL DISTRACT THEM!

[Cole frantically digging through his bag, Panels of Maverick making chaos in background Cole is quick to his loading and draw, shooting about 7-9 shots, Cole is huffing and puffing the giant fall to the ground, snoring, Cole breaks the silence]

Cole: Jesus fucking H. Christ Maverick

Cole: A little warning next time before we go head deep into shitvill

[Panel of Maverick rolling his eyes huffing]

Cole: That happened way quicker than normal

Cole: We better not have to deal with no more monsters that fast

Cole: I think I might just have a fucking heart attack

[Maverick walks over in like two panels and holds his hand out in the third]

Maverick: You haven't died yet, have a feeling you won't die anytime soon Shawcross

[Cole grabs Mavericks hand to help him up]

[Jump to the monster hunter crew coming in, extraction is happening, Cole is off to the side poking at shit and whatever with Maverick in the background, it then focuses on Maverick who is giving his report]

Terry: Uh-uh, alright I think that's all I need Knox-

[Face goes into a slight roll eyes kind of way, but points with his pen and nods]

Terry: [sigh] Shawcross is getting bored, again

[Maverick turns his head to look and sighs, he nods and holds a hand up to wave as he walks over]

Maverick: Cole

Cole: Can we head back home now?

[Cole looks up from his crouched position with a pout, he looks like a moron]

Maverick: No, we have to wait till we get the green light to leave

Maverick: Can you not get in anyone's way for five fucking seconds?

Cole: I'm used to getting a job done and getting the fuck out of dodge knox Cole: Sorry not everyone is used to the aftermath

[Cole and Maverick have a staring contest, Maverick rolls his eyes with an arm toss and turns away, however Cole follows, Cole is standing next to Maverick and then Cole gets a red hoodie shoved into his arms]

Maverick: Told you to bring a fuckin' coat you Gremlin

[Maverick nods to Cole, Maverick watches Cole pulling it on]

Terry: ALRIGHT! LOAD INTO THE VANS!

Cole:Fucking finally-

[Cole and Maverick start making their way to the car, Cole pausing to watch as the trucks start up, moving the thing along, he tilts his head to the side before Maverick calls for him]

Maverick: Come on Shawcross!

Maverick: You were the one complaining about waiting

Cole: Yeah Yeah you hot head

Cole: Can we get potion of shit yourself?

[Maverick looks annoyed that he even knows what Cole is talking about]

Maverick: Cole I'm not stopping to get you iced coffee

Maverick: We have a long way to go before we can get home

Cole: But Maverick!!

Maverick: Shut it shawcross!

Maverick: Fine I'll stop for ice coffee just shut up!
