Oh I am definitely hearing you!! That is such a lovely idea!!

Imagine Siren lulls their partner in at first with their song. Seeing how beautiful they are and wanting to add them to their collection of lost souls. But when the person doesn’t react, the Siren is only more intrigued! Not being able to stop their curiosity, they go up to the shore. Completely forgetting to be cautious about this strange human. They’re astonished when they find a person unable to hear. They want to know everything. About them and about how they’re unable to hear.

They’re completely fascinated by them. In awe at the way they move about and look at the world around them. It doesn’t take much for them to fall in love with them, being as wonderful as they are. In return, they want them to know everything about sirens as well. So they start taking them everywhere and showing this human what they do.

It takes a bit to get used to but the human loves their siren and they know it’s completely genuine. Similar to the siren they can’t help but be curious though. I’d imagine the human would ask to feel their throat. Wanting to know what it feels like to hear the siren sing. The siren is worried if it’ll have the same affect as hearing it would but their love drives them to do it anyway.
