Monologue-ing in movies is fun if not a great trope if done correctly, but sometimes in real life I make a comment about someone’s interests and then they talk about said interests and then I wake up an hour later after having spent the time talking about my own special interest and it’s like “Nnnnnoooo the monologue man has struck again”.
Like it’s not that monologing is bad it’s just that I want to hear my friends’ monologues.

sometimes i feel like I need a reminder that my random fanworks are just random fanworks and will never be judged by anyone harsher than a 13 year old in a creative writing class or a 22 year old scrapping around for something to read besides their latest assignment. and if I can make them smile by telling them about how I think their favorite characters would chose to slap each other silly, without working myself silly, then i should just do it already
