Today my mind was blown during reflection/ consecration time. I realized that I live my favorite scripture. Like, the portion of the ministry of Jesus Christ that I belong in has everything to do with my favorite scripture. Like, who God made me to be has everything to do with my favorite scripture. I'm trying to grow a sunflower, and some poppies. Starting off you get a packet of seeds and dirt. I can see the picture on the package for a clear idea of the beauty that will spring forth from the dirt. This is typically the time that I kill plants, mainly because I wasn't considering that it's not just patience that I have to practice, but I also have to tend to the soil so that it could do its job to grow the plant, AND- that it's the soils job to grow the plant in itself, not mines. The soil cannot be manipulated in any way, shape, or form. And it can't grow those beautiful flowers unless I make sure I properly care for it. Strange how we so easily neglect the very fact that although we are partnering with God to cultivate our revealed blessings, but skip the beautiful cultivation process due to impatience, and ignorance on the source of growth, sometimes neglecting the fact that our relationship with God got us the blessing in the first place. #monnieout #MonniesMind #monniesworld #melovesewwe
