ooh i haven’t listened to this one in ages but its probably the e6 one I can return to most often!

Favourite Track: “Germans in Mexico” bc “¡Vaya con dios, amigos!” still gets in my head. (Runner-up: Night Vision & Rubber Rocket)

Least Favourite Track: A bit obvious, but “Chocolate Pope” - Germans would’ve made suuch a nice ending to it but they had to go the novelty route

Underrated track: I’m not super aware of the crazies’ opinions on the tracks but I feel like I’ve never seen “Pulling the Plug on the Party” get its due credit. “Something Wrong With Us” too 

Overrated Track: I guess “I Buy the Drugs” by virtue of it being the “single” of the album - not quite as great as the others but certainly ages well in every setlist. 

4: if you could be an embodiment of any band, which band would it be?what an odd question! bands generally have people in them to embody them already. i guess its not really how i see music. i suppose lately id like to be the embodiment of The Beach Boys, except w/ less mike love

14: favorite song in terms of lyrics? Pretty much every lyric on Distant Plastic Trees / The Wayward Bus by The Magnetic Fields makes me cri, and it feels arbitrary to pick a song from either album, but i’d go with Jeremy. Fav is “the house we bought was really a lake”

37: favorite album cover art? i was trying to think of a funny or cute one but honestly the first thing that came to mind was Grimes’s Art Angels - really iconic already. it’s rare that I need to own something on vinyl nowadays but there we go, and the art inserts are rly good too

44: you’re hosting a music festival, choose 10 headlining artists: uhm i guess this can be p. much read as just 10 artists i would really like to see in my lifetime. in which case:

joanna newsom (ive already seen these last two, jnew twice, but theyre good bets so im going for them again)

although in fact now that i’ve posted this i reckon i could do a top 10 with ones i’ve seen that would also slay festivals. oh well
