(Keep in mind this book was published nearly 30 years ago, also by a dude, so some of the language/description the author uses is not great either, even though he's calling out Raybert for being scumbags.) Hazel but leaning towards green eyes because I guess it’s in the middle of the brown to blue eye colour spectrum?? I don’t know.

He’s 5’7.5 because that’s between 5’9 and 5’6 but I wrote 5’8 because I did my maths wrong and I’m not bothered to change it now

Most of the cursed images come from https://monkees.coolcherrycream.com/ (cool website pls check it out) and apparently Shadow Mike is just a blacked-out picture of Mike for a guess the Monkee contest

In terms of Monkee lore, though, Shadow Mike is Mike’s shadow accidentally given sentience by the Monkees (somehow).

Basically:

He’s harmless

Is kind of like Peter Pan’s shadow because he sticks to Mike but sometimes he just runs away

This freaks everyone out because usally people have shadows and sometimes Mike doesn’t

Has a low self-esteem because people’s first reaction to seeing him is screaming and running away

Plays a shadow guitar (Mike’s guitar’s shadow) which is why you can hear random guitar noises at night

Can’t sleep, or eat or any of that human buisness

Can’t talk but can telepathically communicate with Mike

Does the dishes and the chores sometimes

Mike tries to cheer him up but he’s always sad because he is just a shadow
