π this is so sweet!! and to be fair, the only reason I can write so quickly is because i donβt do much else :0 I spend nearly all day writing or thinking about writing,,, and I am a very fast typist orz so when I get very into the story, I can write up to 1k in half an hour!
but yeah!! I do see it sort of like a movie with scenes playing out :0 unfortunately,, I am very bad with faces so itβs kind of always just featureless people (often why I donβt.,,, describe appearances, just the way someones face looks fdjgjhhjdfg)
Hello, first I'd like to say I love how you're sims look! And the asylum too actually, it's super cozy (to me :D). I'm curious if you're using any autonomy mods and if so, which ones? Because when I give my sims free reign, they mostly just stand around (in the bathroom!) and don't do anything. So any tip would be super helpful. Thanks :D

other than ACR (x), i donβt have any mods for autonomy. if i remember correctly, the asylum sims did some standing around (outside) at the very beginning, i had to wait until someoneβs motives dropped for anything to really start happening. once we started running into trouble, things got more interesting (ie no food in the fridge, the fire, the ghosts!).
it might also help to make note of the activities you have available around the house for your sims. some items the sims will use on their own with free will but others they canβt (i had the pottery wheel in the asylum mostly as decoration because the sims wonβt use it without your direction). I know that @dramallamadingdang has offered up a few item tweaks that will let sims use things autonomously (search here).
personalities of the sims might also play a role. having a variety, especially where conflicts are possible could help stir things up as well. i was actually hoping that Inori being a romance sim with ACR on would cause some drama in the house but shes the most monogamous romance sim iβve ever seen.

watching gone girl when it was released because it got me back into reading and that has changed my writing so much by finding books like half bad and illuminae
choosing to live w/ my mom instead of my dad when they got divorced (LMAO)
taking 1 semester of german before i left public school so i know just enough of the basics to purposefully mess them up and annoy my sister

Yesterday I was cleaning a cabinet at home and I found an exam my older brother failed miserably when he was a teen and I remember that exam perfectly cuz he was so scared of showing it to mom that he gave it to tiny little me and begged for me to be the one to go tell my parents that he failed while he waited in his room.
