Promises Kept | Molly
Doc checked his clock and saw that it was getting late. They had never set up and exact time, but he figured midnight might be a bit too late, especially if she had to work the next day, or if he was called up by the Order. So he pulled on a white t-shirt, stuck his feet in a pair of shoes, grabbed his wand, and apparated out of his flat. He briefly thought to let Hayden know where he was going, but then he caught himself, it wasn't Hayden's business. Really, nothing seemed to be anyone's business lately, and the thought of being with someone who didn't really care whose business was whose, was a relief. For so long Doc had hid. Not wanting to face anything, or see another look of pity on another persons face. Â But Molly. Molly never pitied him, Molly seemed to actually enjoy his company, not wince anytime he walked into the room.
The Leaky Cauldron was busy, as it always seemed to be, even when all of the kids had gone back to school. Actually, it seemed livelier without them, like people could just now be and do what they wanted to do. Doc scanned the crowd and didn't see the Witch, so he grabbed a table, and grabbed a firewhiskey. Waiting was never the first thing he enjoyed, but right now, he didn't have anything better to do anyway. Most of his mates seemed to be busy as of late, all of his other mates were in school. He just felt, well, alone, and sitting in a room full of other people, it helped somewhat. He knew he wasn't really alone, it was just his suffering that he had to bear.
