She should probably ask one of her friends if this is what having a heart attack felt like. It felt like it. A call down to the office might be in her future. Or maybe just straight to Kalyana. A baby heart attack wasnât anything to worry over, right?Â
Very, very carefully she set the pan back on the counter and far, far away from the doctor.Â

It was mostly in the name, and considering Moira worked with genetics and chemistry and solutions all day, she might have a pretty good idea of what happens to pure iron when you introduce it to certain things. Corrosion and soap and metal and gods- it was a family heirloom for a reason! And that reason was why she stole it from her mother when she left!
Moira was looking progressively more disgusted as Emily explained what seasoning was and how important it was to cast iron and- oh for bloody fucking- it wasnât that odd.
