can I ask for a quest for this weekend? I don't really have any partners in mind but the whole questing concept sounds fun. IDK how much time I'll have to complete it until this weekend, tho
Somewhere, in a small, rickety wooden puppet theater in front of a run-down shop, a presence stirs....
āBAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! BEHOLD, FOR IT IS I, BOB, YOUR TERRIBLE AND VELVETY GOD!ā Itās very strange, listening to Bob talk. The puppet moves and is animated, but the grating, borderline unbearable voice that comes out of it is everywhere and nowhere at once -- almost like itās in your head.
The puppet waves its arms around in a circular, comically inaccurate rendition of a mage casting a scrying spell, beginning to speak as it adjusts the leather boot that serves as a hat on its head, and begins to speak in an almost musical limerick.
āThere lives here a man named Boers,Who quite often visits the whores,On The Bronkrig fair,Near Haagstee Square,But donāt leave yet! I have more
This quest he provides,Requires a guide,And a half-elf named Ivan,Your life will enliven,If you go to him donāt be so snide.ā
Thereās a very brief pause as Bob questions his choice in bawdy poetry.
ā... that last part could have gone better. BUT YOU GET IT! GO TO THE HALF-ELF IVAN, AND THEN TO THE BRONKRIG. ASK FOR NICOLAAS BOERS, AND HE WILL PROVIDE YOUR QUEST.ā With that, Bob the Oracle of NāChuatziel disappears behind the curtains of his puppet theater, his purpose fulfilled. Half a second later a small wooden bowl filled with candied figs slides towards you, propelled by some unseen force. Written in nearly illegible handwriting on the bowl are the wordsĀ āTAKE ONE.ā
