Danny Choo teamed up with The Good Smile Company to produce this series of moe flash cards to help you learn basic Japanese kanji characters. Each of the 87 poker-sized cards features a kanji character, a simple vocabulary word and a cute illustration to tie it all together.

So, I never really use my old whiterabbitpress flashcards. They have so much information...but it's not fun. Not really. 

These on the other hand do look exceptionally fun. 

The advantage of these is with the cute drawings and whatnot, you're probably going to remember things better. They're memorable by nature (as opposed to just being a list of information with no visual stimulus).

The disadvantage is it's 87 cards. 87 kanji is not very many. If you're super serious and want to make speedy progress on kanji, you'll get through this very quickly and have to go somewhere else for your next kanji fix.

Plus, the 87 included here are basic so if you've done any kanji study ever you've probably covered a few of these, kanji, if not all of them, already.

I probably won't buy these myself because there just aren't enough (yet) to make them a worthwhile purchase. I wouldn't get a lot of usage for my money.
