Here is Fingal and ModokiBetamon (and not Evan and Betamon as in the comic-book). I quite love the energy of these two characters who totally complete each other. Fingal is a no-problem guy - like, he's always in good mood and positive. He grows up in Glasgow, in the "manor Flanagan", a big house quite in bad shape, because his family is poor. Also, he's the middle child of a family of 5 children. He's quite the guy who love to go out, quite independant. Not the kind of guy to worries about the mystery of the Digital World or willing to think to much, and always having tendency to say jokes and all.
His partner is ModokiBetamon who is quite the extra-energetic little guy. Very curious, he's always asking questions, too much questions, with a lack of human-social-convention. He loves playing video games, surfing on internet and watching TV, and he always wants to be part of any discussion, even if he has to speak loudly for everyone to know he's here. Some people could say that being a "modoki" is the reason, inferiority complex and all. But he's just a noisy little guy who fits perfectly with Fingal.

The japanese word ζ¬γ modoki, meaning mimic or imitated, is often attributed as its namesake, but on top of that, γ’γγ modoki also appears in many names of gecko species!
According to the Digimon Reference Book their population is much smaller than Betamon's, but isn't much different in terms of personality, both being calm and docile creatures.
