Inspired by @dailydrawingprompts’s drawing prompt 178!
I didn’t draw on headphones as the prompt suggested, but upon seeing the prompt I rememered that one of my characters (=the girl on the right) has white headphones that could be drawn on! That also lead to the idea of her best friend (=girl on the left) being artistic, which is a nice addition to her character.
This girl is one I’ve been developing quite a lot lately (she’s the other girl from the last drawing I posted). I decided to name her Aisha, I think it suits her. This is kind of festive wear for her, possibly her prom dress. I couldn’t really draw it, but it’s of a delicately patterned and shimmering fabric. I really love her and the dynamic between her and her best friend! I’m pretty sure they go/went to the prom* as a pair (not 100% sure, because Aisha could’ve also gone with her brother). Just as friends though, despite them both being lesbians. There was never any romance between them, only them bashing about pretty girls and crushes together :D
*by prom I mean “vanhojentanssit”, a festive dance event during the second year of lukio (Finnish high school)
Inspired by @dailydrawingprompts’s drawing prompt 292! Not exactly what the prompt was about, but I got inspired by it. This is just a sketch, but I don’t think I got the anatomy well enough to be motivated to work on this more. It’s the birthday of the girl in the middle, and she’s so happy about it! Especially with her girlfriend (or to-be girlfriend, I’m not sure when exactly this takes place). There’s her little sister on the left and her girlfriend on the right, and they’re posing for a photo. She’s so happy she can’t really keep her hands still, though (the photo will come out a bit blurry, but that’s okay)!
