Carbon emissions have slightly reduced in the UK, we will not hit the 2020 target set by the looks of it. Construction is a big producer, with the average house producing 6 tonnes of carbon emissions per year, it is reassuring that MODULARESI/ VRC HOMES are doing our bit for the environment with our hybrid modular system, as the houses we have built are only producing 1.7 tonnes P.A. This equates to 28% of the of the ave, without the use of MVHR. We would say we are not doing bad, we can do more with the use of solar, more renewable energy sources like district heating for larger sites to make it worthwhile and become carbon neutral or Zero probably, the extra cost would have to be achievable on the sale price for this to work. If this were to happen , MODULARESI / VRC HOMES would have no problem in advising our clients how to achieve this with our BOPAS system.
