friday,my younger brother came in to be model. i used the foil slicing technique to add black streaks in his hair. he originally wanted his entire head colored black, but in order to please my father we went with streaks using a semi. of course my brother wants it darker, so today im off to sally's to get demi and do it again. hey, its good practice right?
for the rest of the day i colored my short hair mannequin plum brown. even though i used cholestoral as a base and wiped her down before putting a cap on her and putting her in the dryer color still managed to stain her face :[ does anyone know if i can remove it? its no big deal, but im slightly anal over little things like that. i also experimented with messy updos. it was a pretty slow friday overall.
next week we will begin lightening and we are going to work with our ethnic mannequin. im a little nervous; i have never worked with ethnic hair before.
