It’s like a hamburger, right? A game by itself is a burger, maybe with a nice side of fries and soda as decent expansions/DLC. Then you have mods, which are like ketchup, bacon, cheese, pickles, etc. Sure, you can probably go insane and bury the thing in extras and condiments, but chances are most people aren’t going to bury it in a pile of ice cream, cake, and animu flavored touhou skins. And if they do, sure: there’s still a hamburger in the middle of all that, and you can still say you enjoy it. Power to them for... uh, having the courage to eat that crap?
That’s like Fallout, I guess.
