Coming from a dimension with aquatic humanoids that could walk on both land and water, she felt distant and alone. Her kind was frivolous, yet shunned anything different. She, however, was quite different.
She made her home in the depths of the sea, away from the other members of her society that called her a witch for avidly practicing science. There, she studied. She stayed there so long, bioluminescent purple dots lined her cheeks in an orderly fashion. Her eyes became sources of light themselves, the more knowledge she gained. She soon learned of other dimensions, and she eventually piqued the interest of none other than Bill himself.
None of her kind had shown her kindness. She was bitter and cold, alone in her world. Bill brought light, warmth, freedom. She was glad to serve a higher purpose. To express oneself through chaotic means? It almost seemed out of her reach, but with Bill, it was possible.
She gave her people one last chance; a chance to embrace change and discard the monotonous spiral. However, they had turned up their noses. Just as Bill had said they would.
Soon, she had activated the portal to the Nightmare Realm that she had made in Bill’s image, and he would be free to link their worlds.
If they wanted a witch, then a witch she shall be.
Her previously-normal hat turned into a set of arms and hands that were dark as shadow. Somehow, they didn’t seem one shape, stretching and sharpening to her will. Her teeth became sharper, and legs like lances to impale her foes.
No one would ever hurt her again.
Her name comes from the Greek Thalassa and Migissa, meaning “Sea” and “Witch”.
Do not ask about the soft, delicate tendrils at her sides. Those are quite sensitive, and for reproductive purposes. If you touch them without her consent, she will shred you.
She has a banshee screech that can do physical damage upon those she feels ill-will twoards. Ruptured eardrums are the least of their problems, if they invoke her wrath.
She admires Bill for liberating himself, for helping liberate her. No one else could be more important in her eyes.
Once ascended to godhood, she began having many mind-powers. Telekinesis was an obvious one, but she occasionally reads people’s forethoughts on accident. She has not learned to control it.
Ghostly, her skirt flows in a never-ending, invisible tide. Heart crushed and turned to stone, she has resemblances to a vengeful spirit. Her hair, too, flows in an ethereal manner. It is as if she is constantly in water, even when she is not.
Thala feels emotion strongly, to the point where it rocks her to the core. Sometimes she gets out of control in one way or another, due to her form not being used to harboring so much power. Bill is the only one able to calm her, in those times.
Small and sleek, she is most likely one of the fastest if not the fastest Henchmaniac. She uses the momentum to pierce people with her legs, and the results are rather glorious. However, she can be knocked off-course. Weakness would be her sensitive sides, but good luck getting to them.
