Yoosung

Poor baby, he gets scared pretty easily and if he sees a horror movie or plays a horror game, he won’t sleep for days because of the nightmares

He doesn’t mind that MC likes this stuff tho, just he prefers not to join her when she’s watching something that involves horror

About exploring scary places, sometimes, MC begs him to join her, she actually is afraid of going alone

This is the moment when Yoosung puts aside his scariness and goes with MC

Once they went to an abandoned school (yeah, if normal school is terrifying for Yoosung, this one would make him cry)

There was one time when both got really scared because they heard noises and saw things moving

It was Seven, pranking both of them

Halloween, man, this was MC’s favorite holiday.

She loves wearing scary costumes

Yoosung is not a fan of this day because of his scariness.

He simply waits for MC to come back home with lots of candies that both can eat (she got them mostly from scaring people and letting them throw their bags)

Jaehee

She doesn’t care at all about horror, since she never had time to do anything else besides studying and later working

Actually, when MC and she started living together, she began watching horror movies, shows, documentaries, and going to scary places, just to spend time with MC

Even tho she’s been in more contact with horror, she doesn’t like it at all, not because she’s scared, she thinks every movie is dumb, the documentaries are false, and the scary places are simply places that haven’t been used in a while

The only thing that actually scares her that MC enjoys are the ouija related movies, or playing it (this is based on myself as a religious person), she thinks something bad will happen if people play with that and all the spirits stuff

Zen

Surprisingly, he really likes horror stuff too

At first he was nervous to show that to MC because he thought she didn’t like that at all

He finds out one night when MC asks him to go with her to an abandoned orphanage

After that they both go visit weird, strange, and scary places

He’s more coward than MC tho

While watching movies she’s the one who hugs him while he covers his eyes

She kisses him every time he jumps a bit to comfort him

About games, that’s the only thing that MC does that Zen’s not interested, he thinks it looks faker than movies

Still, he enjoys watching his love playing, getting scared and watch her be tense almost all the time

Jumin

This guy at first doesn’t like the idea

He has this idea that everything about horror is exaggerated and dumb

After beginning to date MC, he becomes indifferent of all that, still doesn’t like it, but won’t complain about that

When MC wants to go out and explore scary places, Jumin goes with her because he’s a gentlemen and wants to make sure she’s okay

If MC wants to watch a horror movie or play a horror game, Jumin would rarely join her, he prefers working, but allows MC to have Elizabeth the 3rd as her companion while Jumin’s not there

Seven

Despite being a really religious person, he freaking loves horror stuff, any kind, from dumb movies to possessions related horror

He absolutely loves setting up scenes and sets to scare MC. Building bots, designing ambient sounds, setting up cameras.

He and MC have a long-running war going on between the two to see who can scare the other more

There’s a scoreboard on the front of the refrigerator. Seven is currently winning.

Seven’s latest point was to put ants in MC’s toothpaste

MC’s latest score was to leave tiny plastic baby hands on top of all of Seven’s keyboards

Not fake babies, just their hands

He loves going ghost hunting the best. Setting up all of the recording equipment and sassing the non-corporeal interlopers, and shrieking when something whispers back

I swear MC, it talked to me! They definitely said ‘You’re next’! Wait, don’t leave me alone here! I’m gonna get possessed!

He hits higher notes than MC. That boy has a set of lungs on him, let me tell you

He doesn’t like horror very much. The screaming is too loud, the gore looks fake, the camera is too shaky (please do not let him watch any found footage videos. He despises them, spends the whole movie criticizing all of the camera work. Even if he doesn’t deal in video footage there are some things you just don’t do with a camera apparently)

He refuses to experience the psychological or suspense horror. He doesn’t mind if you watch it, but he does appreciate some warning so he can stay away from all of that. It is Not His Thing ™

This leads to some pretty intense debate when you have a movie night. You want Horror, V would prefer something indie, though likely as not it’s in French

And neither of you speak that language

He doesn’t mind going to haunted houses with you when they’re in season. Though you can’t see it because it’s so dark, he blushes every time you jump and grab his hand

He mostly accepts it because of the Fall Aesthetic though. He’d be just as happy doing the cheesy hay rides and such, but if getting spooked makes you happy…

He strongly objects to the urban exploration. The last thing he needs is the call to get you bail because you were trespassing, or worse.

Saeran knew this day would come, he was constantly fearing that this would happen. Leaving… Mint Eye… had its risks, they had told him when he joined that he could not leave, ever, yet he defied them and ran away as soon as MC begged him to run away with her.

It seemed like a normal day, though he had a bad feeling, something he hadn’t felt in a while. MC suggested going out to a nocturn picnic, so they had prepared everything, packing food, drinks, everything they thought necessary. Saeran suggested a beautiful and clear park, he knew MC liked watching the stars at night. Even though the picnic was going as they both planned it, from the start, Saeran felt like they weren’t alone, as if somebody was watching them from the shadows.

It didn’t surprise him at all when he saw a familiar figure walking right to them, it was one of his old partners at Mint Eye.

“Saeran Choi, we’ve come to get you back” said the unexpected guest.

MC was getting nervous, Saeran could tell because she was holding his hand and hers was shaking, a lot, but she was trying to be brave, for him.

“MC, don’t worry, I’ll talk with them and make sure they leave us alone” Saeran whispered before standing up and walking directly to the figure. “I think I didn’t make myself clear last time, I don’t want to be part of Mint Eye anymore, so I decline your offer.”

“This is not a choice, Saeran Choi, The Savior wants you to return and be part of us once again and forever.”

“Aren’t you listening? I have a normal life now, I have people that love me and need me, not like Mint Eye, they used me, lied to me. I repeat my answer, I’m not going back with you.”

The figure stared at him for a long time, and then they simply sighed while nodding. They moved their hand slowly until it was inside their robe’s pocket. Saeran saw at the corner of his eye MC, staring at him and the figure with concern. When she decided to stand up, the figure in front of Saeran pulled out a gun and pointed it directly to Saeran’s face.

“If you want to stay alive, don’t you dare move an inch towards her.”

Saeran raised his hands as if he was giving up, but in less than a second, he grabbed the person’s wrist and twisted it. He made sure that they couldn’t try pointing the gun again at him, or even worse, at MC. He didn’t notice when the other two figures appeared from the darkness, one that punched him in his stomach, making everything blurry while he fell down, and the other one tackling MC.

The person that punched him and the one of the gun tied his hands together and forced him to sit down in the grass, the other member of Mint Eye dragged by force the girl until they were a few feet away from Saeran and the rest. His stomach and lungs hurted so bad, but the next pain that he would feel was not going to be comparable with the rest. The gun guy insisted one more time with their invitation, but this time they were prepared. The one who attacked MC smiled and forced the girl to kneel, punching her right in the cheek so hard that Saeran swore he could hear her jaw almost breaking. After this, the man simply laughed and prepared to throw the next punch, this time, directly to MC’s stomach.

With every punch, Saeran felt guiltier for not protecting MC. With every wince she made, he accumulated more rage against those people for harming his precious one. He could see the blood coming out of MC’s nose and mouth, from the cuts in her arms and legs that the guy made with a knife. Saeran knew that some of her fingers were broken due to the Mint Eye member stepping on her hands.

After losing the count of punches and cuts, MC finally broke and started screaming in pain. She shouted Saeran’s name with fear, he didn’t know if she wanted him to leave or rescue her.

“Saeran!” a sob escaped from her mouth as the tears couldn’t stop falling down her cheeks.

At one point, she decided to close her eyes and just wait for her torment to stop. MC didn’t realize when she fell down in the grass and heard groans and anger noises. As soon as these sounds stopped, she felt two hands gripping her and hugging her gently.

“MC?” said a voice with a frail tone. “C-can you hear m-me?”

“Huff” she winced when she tried to speak.

“Thank goodness” Saeran took away some strands of her hair out of her face and kissed her, then stared at the two Mint Eye people, which were moaning in pain and with maybe a lot of broken bones.

His eyes were full of rage, but tried to hide it, he didn’t want MC to see it. Saeran carried her gently and began to walk away from those guys.

“If you go anywhere near her again, you’ll have to deal with me” he said this last threaten right before he disappeared, with a still crying MC.
