Notes: This takes place after V's Good Ending. My writing is a little rusty, but I hope you enjoy it! :)

It has been a few days since V, or rather, Jihyun came back to Korea. Being away for two years with only his letters as proof of his presence, it felt so surreal to you that he is now in the area as you. On top of that, you are going to meet up with him! You were a nervous wreck and it worsened as the time for you two to meet came closer.

Currently being a ball full of emotions, you could only do one thing.

Call your trusty close friend - Kang Jaehee.

"Everything will be fine." Jaehee tried to reassure you. "Just be yourself!"

"That's so easy for you to say..." You groaned. "I haven't been talking to him since the party. I barely even talk when he was there! I was in a state of shock throughout the party."

Jaehee could only sigh as you rambled on and paced around your apartment.

"I'm just extremely worried! I waited two years for him but I'm so... scared, Jaehee. What if it doesn't work out? What if all of this is for nothing? What if we decide that—"

"Look." Jaehee firmly cut you off. "Do you love V?"

"Very much." You answered without hesitation.

"And V loves you a lot too," Jaehee replied. "He confessed his love for you during the party. I understand that you are nervous because it has been a long time since you two talked properly, but you should not place doubts on an event that has not happened yet."

You stilled as Jaehee continued.

"Both of you clearly want this to work. So stop overthinking, and just go for it." Jaehee advised before quickly saying, "That might have sounded a little too harsh. I apologise."

You stayed silent as you soaked in Jaehee's words.

"Hello?" Jaehee worriedly called out, "I'm not good at giving relationship advice so I apologise if I—"

"No. You are right." You interrupted, and continued on with determination, "Communication is the key. I shouldn't... For our relationship to work, I have to stop being so pessimistic."

Just as Jaehee was about to reply, You heard your apartment's doorbell ringing.

"I-I think he's here so—"

"Go. I know you can do this."

"Thank you so much, Jaehee. Remember not to overwork yourself too much! I will talk to you later!" You hurriedly hung up the phone and grabbed your purse before opening the door.

Lo and behold, the person you were both dreading and excited to see again stood in front of you.

"I might have come a little too early..." Jihyun sheepishly said as he ran his fingers through his hair. "I was quite nervous and paranoid."

"I..." You could only stare at him. It felt so surreal. The man whom you decided to dedicate your life to the moment you promised to wait for him is in front of you, looking more lively than ever and...

Happy.

"Oh! I bought you flowers." He shyly revealed a bouquet of flowers that had been hidden behind his back. "These are called white dittany. It's a little embarrassing but they symbolise..."

Jihyun paused when he saw your face.

"A-Are you okay?" His eyes widened in bewilderment and he stepped closer to you. "You are... Crying."

You blinked furiously as you realised tears had been falling down your cheeks.

"I-I'm so sorry...!" You quickly rubbed your eyes and tried to hide your blush. "I'm just... I am so happy right now. A-And I just—"

You heard a chuckle and your hands being slowly taken off you eyes. You were greeted with him smiling softly at you.

"It's okay. It's okay to show your tears. I miss you too." Jihyun confessed with a soft tone. His hand cupped your cheeks and his thumb wiped away any stray teardrops.

It resulted in you bursting into tears once more and Jihyun being startled by it.

"I-I'm so sorry—"

"D-Don't apologise! I—"

"I-I'm never this emotional, I'm just—"

"Please, don't worry—"

Jihyun was cut off as you abruptly hugged him.

"I-I'm just so happy. I really missed you!" you rambled on as your tears persistently fell and wet Jihyun's shirt. "I love you so much. So... So much...!"

Jihyun's eyes softened before embracing you tightly.

You were in that position with him for a few moments, with only your sniffles being heard. Jihyun closed his eyes in bliss as he hugged you, loving how much warmth you give him.

With no one noticing it, a one, stray teardrop rolled down his cheeks. And Jihyun replied,

"I love you so, so much too."
