hello, i can see in the faq that you said that for applications you don't need to have an image ready, just portofolios and some piece of media round the sona/oc. how does that work for writers? should we attach some unrelated writing to show our styles, or can we sent something about the oc/sona specifically? (if so, is there a word limit?)
Hey there! So, for writers, we’re going to ask for the following:
Yes, a piece about your OC/sona would be preferable and advised.
Please include a description of that OC/sona somewhere that you can link, too!
You should include 1 or 2 (but no more than 3) other samples of unrelated work just to show off your writing style; we’re going to be looking for consistency and readability!
For writing samples, please do not exceed 3k words each! I know sometimes it has to go over a little to finish a paragraph, but try to stick around there. We want to see that you can write that much to begin with.
To put together a portfolio, I personally suggest/request that you make a Google Drive folder (or one of the safer equivalents) to compile a handful of documents to share in one link so that the application doesn’t get flooded.
We’ll be looking at your AO3/blogs anyway, so prioritize what you’re most proud of with the samples you give us!
