Helloooo damerey fans!! It’s your beloved mods!!

First off, a big thank you to all 810 of you for following, even though we’ve been extremely inactive for several years at this point. Mod Nym and I appreciate every single one of you for following and for loving damerey as much as we do!

Secondly, announcement! The Damerey Network is back up and running! We plan on hosting some fun, relaxed events over the summer and will get back to you on those in the next week or so! Be on the look out for some polls, because we want your opinions and enthusiasm. 

Thirdly, just a quick note from Mod Murphy (me). I know the sequel trilogy has been regarded with a lot of mixed feelings by a lot of fans. However, fandom is for having fun loving the things you like and Star Wars means a lot to a lot of us here. I know we wouldn’t be here without all of you and it wouldn’t be half as fun if we weren’t here to just have some fun. During the height of the movie’s, there was a lot of hate and vitriol going around between “factions” in the fandom and I will admit that I took part in some of it. I’m not proud of that, but I think time for everyone to take some time to step back and look at what Star Wars means to them, personally, has helped everyone a lot. As a neurodivergent person, Star Wars is one of my special interests so I care a whole lot about it. It seems to me with the dying down of a lot of new Star Wars content, the only people who have stuck around are the people who really care about Star Wars. It is to those people I dedicate this blog, and I know Mod Nym backs me on this. We wouldn’t be here without every single one of you.

Podge: Davenport doesn’t like when people misunderstand him and thus is frustrated by the limitations of texting and texts like the student athlete memes with wayyy too many emojis - also he signs all his texts. 

Murphy: Davenport has a ridiculous range and can do so many impressions; the crew beg him to say stuff in funny voices.

Ratboy: Dav def uses his tail as a weapon, like, if you piss him off or annoy him too much he will wap you with it and not feel sorry in the slightest.

Ellian: Davenport very much loves spicy food, and he loves trying new and weird foods on all the planes they visit during the stolen century.

Quill: When Davenport started sea sailing, it took him a few weeks to remember he can’t just go ‘up and down’ anymore to avoid danger. He is at the mercy of the sea and he just forgets.

Eli: Despite the decades upon decades of experience to build on, Davenport is wicked stupid when woken up; he can know tomatoes are a fruit, but lacks the common sense to know not to put tomatoes in a fruit salad.
