Big news, everybody! 

After given feedback and discussions, we set our sights on the age-old application system we had all the way back from SHSL Screaming days. We understand how reserves and applications can cause issues, and we believe that an update is in order to help both new future members and mods, to make it all the more streamlined so you guys can get to roleplaying sooner than ever. 

And so, we replaced the reservation system. We will no longer accept asks asking for reservations for available characters starting today. 

This is how this new system will work!

- You check out our Members page to find which muse is currently available. As well as catching up to speed on our About & Rules page. - Fill in and submit your Application. You will then be privately noted by a mod via Tumblr chat that your application has safely been received. - Within the timespan of a week, other people may also submit their own applications into the group for the same character. If they do, every applicant for the character will then be privately notified by chat of how many total applications are present. Everything will remain anonymous.

(EDIT: We squished the week timeframe to make it dependent on how often we receive messages and applications. If we get a heavy stream of asks and submissions, the seven-day week will be used. If the inbox has been dry, the single application can wait for just three days.)

- After the week, all the applications will be gathered before the mods to discuss and determine who will be the best quality application for the character. We’ll be more lenient as we were before! Most things we check to are correct spelling, punctuation, grammar; and also a good grasp on the character you’re applying for. This will all be on case-by-case.  - Whoever was chosen to be the best quality will privately be notified by chat that your application has been accepted! And an invite to the Discord server will be given.  - To whoever applications were not chosen, they will still be informed by a mod by Tumblr chat; and they will be allowed to apply again for a different character if they so choose.  - Just because there’s a single application when the week is over doesn’t guarantee acceptance. You may still be contacted by a mod via chat that your application has been rejected and you may try again or try a different character.
