Kaitou KID being the perfect gentleman thief - a propaganda compilation

This incredible heist note was submitted by someone who prefers to remain anonymous (or at least prefers their main to be)! I love how poetic it is, deliciously cryptic! The rose is a nice touch too 🌹

It's the 25th April Fools since Kaitou KID debuted in Detective Conan!

We love seeing the response this tournament has prompted so far! It’s so heartwarming to see all the love being thrown at these gentleman thief characters, truly. However, we’re starting to notice a bit of alarming behavior and wanted to address it before it increases or worsens.

As we’ve said a few times, we welcome propaganda and love seeing you reblog the polls rooting for your favorites! But please, don’t uplift your favorites by throwing other characters under the bus! You don’t have to talk about how much the one you didn’t vote for sucks just because you’re rooting for someone else; that just leeches the fun from what’s supposed to be a celebration of the gentleman/phantom thief genre. And please, please, for the love of god, don’t post your violent and rather graphic hate fantasies about these characters, especially the teenagers like Joker and Kaitou KID (the former ranges from 16-18, and the latter is approximately 16/17) just because you want someone else to beat them. That’s…………uncomfortable at best. Neither of us wants to see people talking about teenagers like that, especially over something as inconsequential as a tournament poll on tumblr dot com. Don’t do that, please and thank you.

Kaitou KID and Joker, both impatient about the poll results, decided to decide the winner via a challenge. With water guns. Whoever hits the other wins. However, with KID's card gun experience and Joker's second primary weapon being a gun, both of their accuracies are spot-on... they both hit each other simultaneously, in the head, making them let out cat-like noises.

The other thieves are not impressed lmao

If you're talking about how KID's outfit is too obvious for a thief... Guy literally said it himself: "I'm different from a thief that wears all black. I'm bold and flamboyant; I'm Kaitou Kid!" He wears a whole white suit for a signature costume, why not add a pink tie as well?

Besides, he does have a partner, and as a talented magician & master of disguise, KID partly relies on his eye-catching outfit for surprise entrances. He's dramatic and we love him for it.
