Aizawa

Most likely the first time his s/o had ever heard him raise his voice.

His heart would be pounding in his ears so loud that he wouldn’t be able to hear the snickering from his captors.

All that was on his mind was his s/o. Not the villains. Not the civilians. Not the other pro heroes. Them.

The moment he was able to break free he was at their side, but he knew they were gone before he even reached them.

He’d throw on his infamous facade and pick up their body to move them to safety.

When out of range of danger, he’d lower to his knees with his s/o in his arms and just hold them tightly.  

He may have seemed composed but he was definitely a broken mess. A harsh ache enveloped his chest and his eyes watered despite how hard he fought it.

“I broke my promise…. I’m sorry. I couldn’t protect you.”

It wouldn’t be until he was behind the closed doors of home that he would lose all composure. The long winded shout to help easy the pain. The uncontrollable tears. The anger towards himself for not being able to save them. 

If it weren’t for the support and concern of his students he probably would have had difficulty pulling himself out of the crushing depression he fell into.

He’ll visit their grave annually and ask for their forgiveness, leaving behind a small box of their favorite sweet or food at the end of the day. Their death is something he’ll never forgive himself for.  

Todoroki

He would be initially paralyzed with shock but quickly taken by overwhelming anger.

His eyes would go dark and his flames would burn a molten hot white while his ice had flash frozen the surrounding area on his other side.

Ends up unintentionally hurting himself in the process but with how intense his anger flared, he wouldn’t care less.

He thought of nothing but incinerating the ones who were harming them.

But by the time he was done and turned to check on his s/o, they were already gone.

It seemed unreal to him how limp their body was in the middle of the street. He wanted to believe it was a dream but the closer he came, the harder the reality hit.

Todoroki would drop to his knees beside them, finding it hard to touch their lifeless form.

His eyes filled with tears, he’d lean over them to see the face of his beloved and quietly apologize with a shaky voice.

“I’m sorry. I’m so so sorry. I wasn’t strong enough…”

For a long while the paramedics wouldn’t have the heart to tear the two apart.

Even after 5 or even 10 years, he’d still have moments where he’d choke up. The ache their death had caused would never leave him and he’d be haunted by the burns his quirk had left on his skin that day.

Shigaraki

All hell would break lose.

He’d turn anyone in his way to you into ash with no hesitation.

No one was going to take the most precious thing he had away from him even if it was All for One himself.

But when he realizes that he’s too late, he hits a block of denial until he tries to move them.

Their still warm blood on his hands would finally initiate his breakdown.

He’d cry and scream at them to wake up, his vision blurred with tears as they race hotly down his face.

When he comes to pull his s/o into his arms, Shigaraki would rock back and forth as he held them tightly.

His words and cries would turn to garbled up messes of vowels and consonants.

“Don’t leave me like this! How could you! This isn’t fair! THIS ISN’T FAIR!”

Unlike the other two who could more than likely come to terms with their s/o’s death after a sorely long time, Shigaraki would never be able to.

Thirteen

Okey so Thirteen is a huge nerd for museums and documentaries. They already know that most others are not going to want to sit through a self-learning TV program for a date, so they’re more than likely going to take you to a museum of sorts.

I also see them being super organized. Like the kind to bring an itinerary kind of organized but they aren’t the kind to get ruffled if things change.

Would also be on time to a ‘T’ and is super patient if you’re not ready.

Thirteen would definitely play 20 questions with you in order to gather all the information they need to make the date a success beforehand. 

May or may not end up flooding you with random facts related to the museum you’re going to throughout your time there. It would be a little overwhelming at first but listening to Thirteen get so excited about something is really cute.

No worries. Thirteen is definitely going to keep you feed. Depending on the time you settle for the date, they’d take you before or after to a cafe.

Just like a gentleperson, Thirteen is more than happy to take care of the bill but would not object if you were adamant about splitting.

Towards the end of the night, they would get you home at a decent time and communicate how much they enjoyed spending time with you and would love to do it again.

Tho Thirteen wouldn’t initiate anything on the first date, a hug, a kiss on their helm, or even going to hold their hand would give them a very delightful surprise.

Fatgum/Taishiro Toyomitsu

Taishiro is the type of person to take care of the other’s needs before his own. He’ll always be prepared and will always have a backup if the first plan goes awry.

For a first date he’d suggest an easy day out in the city so that you guys could hang, do a little sightseeing, and visit some of his favorite food stalls and kiosks.

Would encourage you to try anything you haven’t had before but wouldn’t push, force, or make you feel bad if you didn’t want to. 

If you weren’t sure about something, Taishiro is more then willing to buy it and let you try it. And if you didn’t like it or liked it and couldn’t finish it, he would have no problem taking it off your hands.

He wouldn’t normally talk about his interns outside of work but if you mentioned them then, oh boy, you’re in for an ear full because he loves the heck out of his little chicklings.

Definitely will joke with you about super cheesy pick-up lines and puns

Near late afternoon or earlier if you were feeling tired, you’d head over to his place for a movie marathon in a full out pillow fort. His living space is rather large with vaulted ceilings so you two would be able to build up to your hearts content until you ran out of things to pile on.

He’s always down to cuddle. Even if you refused his offer the first time, he’d still welcome you if you changed your mind later, tho he would probably get you with a light tease about it.

It was half past five in the evening and you were still in bed. Curled up with the covers over your head. This episode of depression hit you like a brick wall, leaving you aching and unable to voice it. But you didn’t have to say anything for Dabi to know. He may not have seemed too perceptive but you had an inkling that he knew you better than anyone else, even yourself.

“Hey.” He called out to you as he leaned against the door frame. There was a short silence before Dabi moved to sit on the edge of the bed. When he tried to pull the covers away, you huffed at him and curled tighter so he couldn’t completely take them away from you.

“Come on, now.” Dabi tugged a little harder and sent you twirling until you landed on your stomach on the mattress. He grimaced at your sigh as you just laid there and did absolutely nothing.

As he finally got you to sit up on your own, he lifted your chin so your eyes could meet his. “Is this about that art thing again?” No reply again save for another sigh. He leaned back a little and without warning lightly slapped his palms against your cheeks and squished them in.

“Now you look like a goldfish.” He chuckled. Even when you groaned and tried to pull away, he kept you in place. “Listen. Didn’t I say not to give a shit about your inner voice’s opinion? You really are your worst enemy, huh? If it makes you feel any better…” Dabi trailed off while he pulled something out of his pocket. As he unfolded it, you realized what it was and covered your face in embarrassment. 

It was the first piece you made for him. Something you made back when you first got together. You couldn’t afford to buy a gift for his birthday, so you made one instead and he had held onto it ever since.

“Why do you have that old thing?! Just throw it away! It’s no good!” You couldn’t stand to look at it. Since giving it to him, you had improved quite a bit and it was nothing like the art that you made now.

“Throw it away? I can’t do that. I love it too much.”

“Y-you love it….?”

“Yeah, I’ve always loved your art. Kept everything you ever made me. But this one…. this one is lucky.” Dabi replied as he folded up the piece and stuck it back in his pocket. 

“So,” His hands moved back quickly to squish your cheeks again, “What did we learn today, little fishy?” You frowned and grumbled.

“Hm? What was that? You art is good, yeah?” You nodded best you could with his calloused hands against your face.

“And?”

“A-and??” You parroted, a little confused. 

“You don’t get depressed over just one thing. I know that much.” Dabi’s hands moved to pinch and pull at your cheeks. “Well?” At a lose for words, you just stared at him.

He gave a long sigh. “Your art is good and…” Still nothing but silence.

“You’re smart. You’re talented. Maybe a little too innocent sometimes. You’re kind. You’re funny-”

“Oh my god! Dabi STOP!” Your face flushed red enough to embarrass cherries.

Shinsou Hitoshi

The first time he noticed that you were easily startled was during the first written exam of the semester. Another student, that was sitting in the back, coughed and cleared their throat, making you jump with a quiet sharp inhale and a small jerk. And with you sitting right next to Shinsou, it was rather hard for him to miss it. He gave you a look that asked if you were okay and you turned to him and nodded with a nervous smile. When he turned back to his paper, you turned back to yours with a silent sigh, but that didn’t go unnoticed either.

There are times when the two of you are just out on a date and something will get you, be it a sudden loud noise or a swift movement from a stray animal. But Shinsou would be right there. He’d take your hand and rub the back of it with his thumb or he’d pull you close and when you were away from the source of your jumpscare, he’d lightly rub your back.

Shinsou is often encouraging you that you’re okay. Especially when you jump at his touch. He’ll usually have some form of physical contact with you whether it’s his hand on your back, shoulder, arm, or knee or sitting thigh to thigh at lunch or just cuddling in general. 

He wouldn’t push you to talk about your past or why you startle so easy, but if you did open up to him, he would feel grateful that you trusted him enough to talk about it. You could expect him to be much more protective than he was previously because he knows that he’s not the only one who noticed your reflex. If anyone dared to scare you for the fun of it, they’d be serving you grapes for a month.

When it comes to dates, he’ll avoid loud or crowded places like movie theaters and festivals unless you said that you wanted to go. Even if you hide the fact that you want to go and don’t say anything, Shinsou’s observant enough to know better and may bring up the subject himself, asking your opinion on it.

If you were going to therapy for it, he’d be more than willing to go with you and take you home. He’ll obey your decision to stay behind while you go in by yourself though, because he doesn’t like to pry and respects your privacy. If you weren’t going to therapy, Shinsou would still help work with you on your reflex slowly over time. Regardless of going or not, he’d still worry about you a lot.
