I've known I was objectum for about 11 years now, and it warms my heart to see that this identity is no longer quite as stigmatized as it once was (online, at least)! Anyway, let the gushing commence!!
So, there's this lamp post that is right next to my house and I have always been enamored with her. I've lost count of how many times I've gone out there, sat with my back leaning against her, and just read a book for hours. There have also been instances where the sound of her humming would relax me so much that I'd doze off. For more intimate times with her, I enjoy hugging her, giving kisses on her base and post, or just staring at her all lovey-dovey. I'd love to put a personal little sticker on her or write something sweet on her base, but I believe that would be considered vandalism, so I've refrained. I do, however, frequently draw her in my sketchbook and show all my silly little doodles to her. I think she enjoys when I draw her! Our 6 year anniversary of our relationship is coming up in May and I am preparing an art project that includes me and her :)
