Disclaimer:
Any two personality types can get along. Any two personality types can clash. The OTP/BROTP/NOTP thing is mostly based on what I’ve seen around me, and is just a fun thing for me to do while I wait for my laundry to dry.Â
Send me personality types (at least 3, preferably more)
And I’ll give you my OTP, BROTP, and NOTP.Â
ENTJ perspective: Why I love each type- ISTJ
You’re a nerd and aren’t ashamed for one second. You appear serious, but when you crack a joke, it’s a damn good one. Your sense of humor is so dry and bad that I can’t help but laugh. You’re meticulous and say what you mean, which is really damn nice. Being around you is refreshing, because you’re so chill, low-drama, and always have your shit together. When the world is crashing down in drama and chaos, you’re just like, “chill, I’m busy looking up historical reenactment garb/organic chemistry/world religions, ain’t nobody got time for drama.”Â
ENTJ perspective: Why I love each type- ENFP
You lot get a bad rap for being “ZOMG SO RANDOM SQUIRREL DINOSAUR” but you can actually be really smart and worldly. One of my best friends since childhood is an ENFP. Yeah, she can be kind of random and distractible, but she knows a bit about everything, and a TON about Shakespeare and musicals. We talk for hours about ridiculously complex Harry Potter headcanons, what culture (both ancient and modern) would be like if Earth had two moons, or what Shakespeare would have thought about yaoi hentai versions of his works (notably following Hamlet/Horatio). I can appreciate that in a friend.Â

ENTJ perspective: Why I love each type- INTJ
Probably not what you expect, but INTJ humor is actually really great. INTJ humor is a combination of sarcasm, bad puns, and some really clever practical jokes, blended with “looking at me like you’re on the Office” after making a joke that I find so damn funny. INTJs always win me over with their jokes, which is why people always confuse me when they say INTJs are humorless. I also love that INTJs are practical and realistic and set goals that can actually be reached. INTJs and ENTJs tend to function on similar wavelengths which makes communicating with INTJs really easy. I love that my INTJ bestie and I can communicate with just bad puns and resting bitchface for most of our interactions.Â
ENTJ perspective: Why I love each type- ESFP
ESFPs are so in-tune with their environment. My ESFP friend is so good at things like makeup, music, and is so entertaining and amusing! Yeah, she can come across as a bit “airheaded” at times, but in a lovable way, and we keep her around for good reasons- our friend group wouldn’t be even remotely the same without her lively energy. I envy her ability to be spontaneous, especially with things like art. While I do have Se as a function, and do consider myself an artist, she can sit down and play a piece of music through after looking at it just once, and do pretty-much-professional makeup on any facial features and complexion, using products of any quality. She’s also a goddamn riot to be around.Â
If I don’t get any asks, I may do a post about Enneagram.
Enneagram is kinda a cool hippie-dippy alternate system to MBTI, which actually has some scientifically proven consistency (so it’s not like a horoscope.)Â
