when is kin pride day? kin pride day will be an all-day event on october 24.

what can we do on kin pride day? you can post extra art, poetry, etc and generally celebrate your kinity and having made it through all your past lives, and celebrate those to come.

why call it kin “pride” day? based on a survey conducted by @thetribalmoth we at l.a.a. came to the conclusion it was an ok word to use. i am lgbt myself, but i separate it from my kinity and see pride as a usable word. no infringement is intended upon the lgbt community. it’s only meant to be a day of proudness for our lives and kintypes. it does not mean to insinuate we are oppressed, because we aren’t! we do deal with internet bullies and antikin, so the event doubles as a way to stand up to them a bit.

why do you keep pushing a holiday nobody wants? there are quite a few in favor or neutral to the idea of kin pride day, myself and luc included. in regards to allegations of tag flooding, i can’t speak for luc, but it shall be kept to a minimum on my part.

why won’t you leave the former creator of kin pride out of this? i, mod chief, as of this moment fully intend to leave him out. i reviewed his statements to us and while i can’t agree with having no pride day, i will absolutely do my best to ensure little if any connection is made to him.
