#mod updates

I've updated my Expanded Active Households mod to a new edition, adding in lots of new features such as stayovers, a new interactive daycare system, custom babysitters and separated bills! More info in the download link 😊

This is less of an update and more of a complete redo of my old toddler bed. The big change is that this operates more like a regular bed, just toddler sized. Honestly, kind of a nightmare and if I could go back in time and not have the idea to do this, I would but anyway, here it is. 😭 Works pretty much like a regular bed, they can sleep and take naps. If they have a stuffed animal, they will sleep with it. Toddlers can jump on the bed and other Sims (Teen+) can read them to sleep.

I would recommend removing the old toddler bed even though this is a separate file but I consider that version now obsolete and it is archived. The localization files from that bed have been added to this one as well so it comes with partial French, Brazilian Portuguese and Korean translations.

In addition to that I've also included a custom dresser that toddlers can use to change clothes on their own. So now my dream of fully independent toddlers that no longer need my attention is complete! *insert evil laugh here*

Requirements: None I believe, everything should be BGC but some audio from Generations but if you don't have that, you simply won't hear anything. Built on ver 1.67, should work with 1.69

Thanks to @zemyna for testing and the photos used throughout! She also found some toddler bed frames that are compatible with the mattress (linked below).

Details on features after the cut

This is an update regarding the state of the blog. Unfortunately all of our mods must focus on IRL and other situations that need to take priority.

As such, this blog has officially gone into archival mode. We will leave all existing posts up with their appropriate tags, and likewise the discord will remain live for community archives and discussion.

Sadly this is fairly typical for online volunteer based blogs and systems, and other things must take precedence.

If anyone is ever interested in taking over the blog, feel free to reach out. Ideally we would want to pass the torch on to a group of persons with similar standards and beliefs as we've cultivated this blog to reflect.

I (Roast) will try to keep an eye on tumblr's messages for the next coming days, but can be better reached on discord.

hi everyone!

i've had this account for two weeks and just wanted to make a lil post saying thank u for all the love this has gotten!!

fandom spaces can feel so dominated by male characters sometimes (at least in my experience) and i just wanted to give some love to some characters that don't get enough love and it seems that other people have been feeling the same because i've been so happy that people have been sending in their fave girlies and liking/reblogging stuff!!!! we just hit 50 followers here which is wild!!!

also apologies if it takes a while for peoples' requests to be posted- i have over 20 girlies in the queue right now and have been getting a request almost every day! i've really just been blown away but the support!

i'm also thinking of extending this account to include the women of tin can bros if people would be interested!

anyways, that's all lol. i probs won't make update posts often but i just wanted to let everyone know how grateful i've been feeling! and to all the girlies reading this - you're the best! (and ofc major shoutout to the guys and non-binaries who've been sending stuff in and liking/reblogging too obvi lol)
